Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting & Central Finance (CFIN) Lead with deep expertise in financial consolidation, intercompany reconciliation, and enterprise finance transformation.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience implementing and supporting SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting, managing complex consolidation scenarios, and leading CFIN integrations and reconciliations across global finance landscapes.
This role requires strong IFRS/Ind-AS knowledge, Central Finance replication expertise, and the ability to manage end-to-end group close processes.
Core Responsibilities
1️⃣ SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting Implementation & Support
· Design, configure, and support S/4HANA Group Reporting solutions.
· Manage the full consolidation lifecycle from data preparation to financial statements.
· Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end group close processes.
2️⃣ Consolidation & Equity Management
· Configure consolidation methods:
o Full consolidation
o Proportional consolidation
o Equity method
· Manage complex ownership structures and group hierarchies.
· Execute investment elimination and minority interest calculations.
· Ensure IFRS / Ind-AS compliance in equity reporting.
3️⃣ Intercompany Matching & Reconciliation (ICMR)
· Configure and execute ICMR processes.
· Identify and resolve intercompany mismatches.
· Ensure clean eliminations during group close.
4️⃣ Currency Translation & CTA
· Define translation methods for balance sheet and P&L.
· Calculate and post Currency Translation Adjustments (CTA).
· Manage multi-currency consolidation scenarios.
5️⃣ Data Integration & Universal Journal (ACDOCA)
· Release financial data from ACDOCA to Group Reporting.
· Configure document types, dimensions, and selection logic.
· Validate FS items and reporting dimensions.
Central Finance (CFIN) Responsibilities
6️⃣ FI Document Replication & Mapping
· Replicate FI documents from ECC or S/4 systems to CFIN.
· Perform GL, company code, profit center, and functional area mapping.
· Ensure harmonized financial structures across systems.
7️⃣ SLT & AIF Monitoring
· Manage real-time replication using SLT.
· Monitor errors using AIF.
· Troubleshoot replication failures.
8️⃣ Reconciliation (Source ↔ CFIN ↔ Group Reporting)
· Reconcile source systems vs. CFIN balances.
· Perform CFIN ↔ Group Reporting reconciliation.
· Identify structural, timing, and configuration differences.
· Manage currency and adjustment variances.
· Conduct root cause analysis during group close.
9️⃣ Reporting & Analytics
· Design reconciliation reports using:
o Fiori Apps (Data Monitor, Consolidation Monitor)
o CDS Views
o SAP Analytics Cloud
· Enable transparency and faster issue resolution.
🔟 Migration Experience
· Experience migrating from:
o EC-CS
o SEM-BCS
o SAP BPC
· Perform data mapping, validation, and parallel close activities.
Required Expertise
· 10+ years SAP Finance experience.
· Strong hands-on S/4HANA Group Reporting.
· Deep Central Finance (CFIN) experience.
· FI–CO–Group Reporting reconciliation expertise.
· IFRS / Ind-AS knowledge.
· Experience with:
o ACDOCA
o ICMR
o Fiori apps
o SLT replication
o AIF monitoring
o Document splitting
o Multi-currency handling
