Role Overview
Sunbelt is seeking an Enterprise DevOps Senior Engineer to architect, standardize, and automate CI/CD, environment management, and delivery frameworks across a hybrid enterprise ecosystem.
This role spans Azure Cloud, On-Prem systems, MuleSoft, Salesforce, AS/400 (IBM i), Databricks, Cybersecurity, and Infrastructure, building unified DevOps patterns to support enterprise modernization initiatives.
The ideal candidate will lead DevOps transformation, establish governance standards, and implement secure, scalable automation frameworks across diverse platforms.

Key Responsibilities
1. Enterprise DevOps Strategy
- Define enterprise DevOps standards across hybrid platforms.
- Create reusable CI/CD templates, IaC modules, and golden path patterns.
- Elevate DevOps maturity across business and engineering teams.
2. Hybrid CI/CD – Multi-Platform Delivery
Design and manage CI/CD pipelines for:
- Azure workloads (.NET, Java, Node, AKS, Functions)
- MuleSoft APIs (testing, linting, policy enforcement, deployments)
- Salesforce (SFDX pipelines, package deployments, sandbox management)
- AS/400 (IBM i) automated release pipelines
- Databricks (notebooks, workflows, ML models, Unity Catalog objects)
Databricks CI/CD Responsibilities:
- Automate notebooks, Delta Live Tables, ML models, workflows.
- Implement pipelines using Databricks CLI, REST APIs, dbx, workspace files.
- Manage Terraform databricks_provider resources (clusters, jobs, permissions).
- Integrate deployments with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins.
- Ensure secure deployment patterns using Key Vault, service principals, PAT lifecycle management.
3. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Configuration Management
- Build enterprise-scale IaC using Terraform/Bicep.
- Implement Azure resource governance and networking standards.
- Use Ansible/PowerShell DSC for on-prem configuration management.
- Implement policy-as-code (OPA, Conftest, Azure Policy).
4. DevSecOps & Supply Chain Security
- Embed SAST/DAST/SCA scanning into pipelines.
- Implement secrets scanning, SBOM generation, artifact signing.
- Standardize secrets management (Key Vault, Vault).
- Enforce secure deployment patterns across Azure, MuleSoft, Salesforce, Databricks, IBM i.
5. Observability & SRE
- Implement monitoring for applications, APIs, infrastructure, and data pipelines.
- Define SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
- Enable Databricks observability (cost, performance, cluster health).
6. Environment & Release Management
- Standardize environment refresh patterns.
- Manage gated releases across hybrid cloud + on-prem environments.
- Ensure compliance and governance across deployments.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Hybrid Cloud Engineering.
- Strong Azure expertise (AKS, App Services, VNets, Key Vault, Monitor).
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines for Databricks.
- Strong Terraform/Bicep (Infrastructure as Code).
- CI/CD expertise: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins.
- Scripting: PowerShell, Bash, Python.
- Experience with at least two major enterprise platforms:
- Azure
- Salesforce
- MuleSoft
- Windows/Linux On-Prem
- Databricks (preferred)
- DevSecOps experience (security scanning, SBOM, artifact signing).
- Observability tools: Azure Monitor, App Insights, Grafana, ELK, Splunk.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications: AZ-400, AZ-305, Databricks Lakehouse Fundamentals, CKA/CKAD.
- Experience with GitOps (Argo CD, Flux).
- Deep experience with dbx, Databricks CLI, workspace automation.
- Service Mesh (Istio, Linkerd, Consul).
- Experience in regulated environments (SOX, PCI, ISO27001).
