Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled ETL Tester with strong expertise in ETL testing and automation using Selenium with Java. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience validating complex data pipelines, performing data quality checks, and implementing automated test frameworks for ETL processes.
The role requires strong knowledge of ETL data validation, SQL queries, and automation testing frameworks, with additional exposure to AI-driven testing or intelligent automation tools being a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities
ETL Testing & Data Validation
- Perform end-to-end testing of ETL processes, including data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Validate data integrity, data completeness, and transformation logic across source and target systems.
- Develop and execute complex SQL queries for data validation and reconciliation.
- Identify and analyze data quality issues, inconsistencies, and transformation errors.
Test Automation
- Design and develop automation test scripts using Selenium with Java.
- Build automation frameworks for ETL testing to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines where applicable.
- Execute regression, integration, and functional tests for data pipelines.
AI-Driven Testing (Preferred)
- Utilize AI-based testing tools or frameworks to enhance testing automation and efficiency.
- Implement intelligent data validation techniques for large-scale data systems.
Defect Management & Collaboration
- Identify defects, document issues, and work closely with developers and data engineers to resolve them.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Provide detailed test reports and documentation for stakeholders.
Required Skills
- 7+ years of experience in ETL Testing.
- Strong experience with Automation Testing using Selenium with Java.
- Expertise in Core Java programming.
- Strong knowledge of ETL processes and data validation techniques.
- Experience writing complex SQL queries for data verification.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AI-based testing tools or intelligent automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
