Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Warehouse Lead with strong expertise in SQL development, relational data modeling, and AWS-based database solutions. The ideal candidate will lead data warehouse development activities, optimize database performance, and support ETL processes using Informatica.
This role requires deep experience in stored procedure development, database tuning, and data architecture, along with hands-on experience working with AWS Aurora PostgreSQL environments.
Key Responsibilities
Data Warehouse Development
- Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse solutions.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Implement relational data models for enterprise data solutions.
- Support data integration and ETL workflows.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems.
Database Development & Administration
- Develop and maintain stored procedures and database objects.
- Optimize SQL queries for performance and scalability.
- Perform database performance tuning and optimization.
- Monitor and maintain database performance.
- Support database deployments and releases.
AWS Database Management
- Work with Aurora PostgreSQL databases on AWS.
- Optimize database performance in cloud environments.
- Manage database configurations and tuning.
- Support cloud-based data warehouse architecture.
ETL & Data Integration
- Develop and maintain ETL processes.
- Work with Informatica PowerCenter for data integration.
- Troubleshoot ETL jobs and workflows.
- Ensure data quality and integrity.
- Support data migration activities.
Performance Optimization
- Perform SQL performance tuning.
- Analyze query execution plans.
- Optimize indexing strategies.
- Improve database efficiency.
- Monitor database performance metrics.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Lead data warehouse initiatives.
- Collaborate with developers and data engineers.
- Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and best practices.
- Support project delivery timelines.
