Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Now Assist AI Agent / LLM Topic Developer with deep expertise in the ServiceNow AI Platform, including AI Agent Studio (Yokohama/Zurich releases) and the Now Assist Skills Kit. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, configuring, and deploying enterprise AI Agents powered by Large Language Models (LLMs) to automate workflows, improve employee productivity, and enhance user experiences across the ServiceNow platform.
This role requires strong knowledge of Generative AI, conversational AI, prompt engineering, and enterprise workflow automation within the ServiceNow ecosystem.
Required Experience
- 10+ years of overall IT experience.
- Extensive hands-on experience with ServiceNow AI Agent Studio (Yokohama and/or Zurich releases).
- Proven experience developing enterprise AI Agents and LLM-powered solutions within ServiceNow.
- Strong understanding of Generative AI, LLM concepts, and conversational AI technologies.
- Experience leading enterprise ServiceNow AI implementations.
Key Responsibilities
ServiceNow AI Agent Development
- Design, develop, configure, and deploy AI Agents using ServiceNow AI Agent Studio.
- Build enterprise-grade AI-driven workflows and intelligent automation solutions.
- Configure AI Agents to support ITSM, HRSD, CSM, and enterprise business processes.
- Optimize AI Agent performance, usability, and scalability.
Now Assist Skills Kit Development
- Develop and configure AI capabilities using the Now Assist Skills Kit.
- Build reusable AI skills and enterprise automation components.
- Customize AI-powered interactions to support business use cases.
- Enhance employee and customer self-service experiences using intelligent automation.
LLM Topic Configuration
- Design and configure LLM Topics for enterprise AI Agent implementations.
- Define prompts, topic structures, context management, and conversation flows.
- Optimize LLM responses for accuracy, security, and business relevance.
- Implement prompt engineering best practices to improve AI output quality.
Generative AI & Conversational Intelligence
- Develop AI-powered conversational experiences leveraging Large Language Models.
- Configure contextual conversations and intelligent workflow orchestration.
- Improve AI agent performance through prompt tuning and response optimization.
- Collaborate with business teams to design AI experiences aligned with business objectives.
Integration & Workflow Automation
- Integrate AI Agents with:
- ServiceNow Workflows
- Flow Designer

- Enterprise Applications
- Build AI-driven workflow automation and intelligent decision-making capabilities.
- Support end-to-end enterprise process automation.
Platform Governance & Best Practices
- Establish development standards and governance for AI Agent implementations.
- Conduct design reviews and ensure adherence to enterprise security and compliance requirements.
- Document AI configurations, prompt libraries, topic definitions, and deployment processes.
- Mentor developers and promote best practices for ServiceNow AI development.

- Familiarity with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector search, and modern LLM architectures.
- Experience with enterprise AI governance, responsible AI, and prompt optimization.
