Mandatory Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on MuleSoft development experience.
• Strong expertise with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Experience designing, developing, and implementing enterprise integration solutions.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, RAML, DataWeave, API-led Connectivity, and Integration Patterns.
• Experience with CI/CD, Splunk, and Dynatrace.
• Insurance domain experience is preferred.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lead MuleSoft Developer to design, develop, and implement enterprise integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in API development, enterprise integrations, DataWeave transformations, API-led architecture, and backend system integrations.

This role will work closely with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, and development teams to build scalable, secure, and high-performing integration solutions while supporting enterprise API modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

MuleSoft Development

• Design, develop, and implement enterprise integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Develop scalable APIs following API-led connectivity principles.
• Build reusable MuleSoft components, templates, connectors, and integration frameworks.
• Develop robust integration solutions connecting enterprise applications, databases, and legacy systems.

API Development

• Design and develop RESTful APIs using RAML.
• Manage APIs using Anypoint API Manager.
• Implement API security, policies, versioning, and lifecycle management.
• Develop reusable API assets aligned with enterprise integration standards.

Data Transformation & Integration

• Develop complex data transformations using DataWeave.
• Create custom DataWeave functions and reusable transformation logic.
• Integrate enterprise applications with:
  • Legacy Systems
  • Databases
  • Third-Party Applications
  • Cloud Services
• Design efficient integration flows using enterprise integration patterns.

DevOps & Deployment

• Deploy MuleSoft applications through CI/CD pipelines.
• Support application deployments across development, test, and production environments.
• Participate in release planning and deployment activities.
• Ensure secure and reliable deployment processes.

Monitoring & Production Support

• Monitor integration solutions using:
  • Splunk
  • Dynatrace
• Troubleshoot production and non-production issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and optimize application performance.
• Implement robust error handling, logging, and monitoring strategies.

Performance Optimization

• Optimize MuleSoft applications for scalability and performance.
• Develop efficient error-handling frameworks.
• Tune integrations for high availability and reliability.
• Implement enterprise best practices for API and integration development.

Collaboration

• Collaborate with:
  • Solution Architects
  • Business Analysts
  • QA Teams
  • Infrastructure Teams
  • Application Development Teams
• Participate in technical design reviews.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership.
• Contribute to enterprise integration standards and best practices.
