Job Title: Data Architect – AI Platform

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer – AI Platform Architect with 8–10 years of experience to design, implement, and optimize enterprise-scale data and AI platforms. The successful candidate will combine deep expertise in data engineering, cloud-native architectures, and AI/ML technologies to enable advanced analytics, machine learning, and generative AI initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and build scalable data and AI platforms supporting analytics, ML, and GenAI workloads.
• Develop and maintain high-performance ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration frameworks.
• Design and manage data lakes, data warehouses, and streaming data solutions.
• Partner with data scientists, ML engineers, and business teams to operationalize AI/ML models.
• Establish data governance, security, privacy, and compliance standards across the platform.
• Optimize system performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Implement cloud-native solutions on Azure, AWS, or GCP using modern DevOps, DataOps, and MLOps practices.
• Leverage tools such as Python, SQL, Spark, Databricks, Airflow, and Azure Data Factory for data processing and orchestration.
• Design APIs and microservices and utilize Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
• Contribute strong project management capabilities and collaborate effectively across teams to deliver strategic initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• 8–10 years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or related disciplines.
• Expertise in Python, SQL, Spark, Databricks, and large-scale data processing frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and big data ecosystems.
• Proven experience with machine learning, generative AI, and MLOps methodologies.
• Strong understanding of data governance, security, and enterprise architecture principles.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
