Job Title: AI Principal Engineer
Location: Phoenix, AZ 85054 (Hybrid)
Need to be proficient with MCP – very
important.
Build and implement applications leveraging Large Language Models
(LLMs) and Generative AI.
Develop AI agents and MCP-based integrations for enterprise applications.
Design, train, evaluate, and deploy traditional Machine Learning models.
Architect scalable backend services using Java or Python.
Integrate AI services with enterprise applications through APIs and
microservices.
Collaborate with product, engineering, data science, and business teams to
define AI strategies.
Optimize AI model performance, scalability, security, and governance.
Provide technical leadership and mentor engineering teams.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of software engineering experience.
5+ years of AI/ML solution architecture experience.
Strong experience with Generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, and AI
agents.
Hands-on experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar AI integration
frameworks.
Strong knowledge of traditional Machine Learning algorithms and model
lifecycle.
Proficiency in Java backend development or Python.
Experience designing REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
Experience deploying AI solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Strong understanding of vector databases, embeddings, and AI orchestration
frameworks.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
