Job Title: Lead Full Stack
Engineer (.NET, VB.NET, Windows Applications & Cloud)
Location: Newark, NJ
(Onsite/Hybrid as per client requirement)
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and deliver scalable enterprise-grade applications across financial services and data-intensive platforms. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in modern .NET technologies, cloud platforms, microservices architecture, and full-stack application development.
This role will lead end-to-end solution architecture, cloud adoption initiatives, application modernization, and engineering best practices while building secure, resilient, and high-performance enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Design
- Design and implement end-to-end enterprise application architecture using .NET Core, Microservices, and REST APIs.
- Build scalable, high-performance distributed systems on AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
- Design event-driven architectures using Kafka and messaging frameworks.
- Lead application modernization initiatives, including monolithic to microservices transformation.
- Define architecture standards, best practices, and technical roadmaps.
Full Stack Application Development
- Develop enterprise-grade applications using:
- Backend: .NET Core, VB.NET, ASP.NET MVC, Web API
- Frontend: Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
- Design reusable UI components and backend services.
- Build secure, scalable RESTful APIs for enterprise integrations.
- Ensure application quality, maintainability, and performance.
Cloud & DevOps
- Architect and deploy applications on AWS services including:
- Lambda
- EC2
- S3
- API Gateway
- IAM
- RDS/DynamoDB
- Work with Azure cloud services for enterprise deployments.
- Build CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, Terraform, and Git.
- Implement containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for scalability, availability, security, and cost efficiency.
Data Engineering & Database Management
- Design and optimize databases using:
- SQL Server
- Oracle
- Snowflake
- PostgreSQL
- Amazon Redshift
- Improve query performance, indexing strategies, and database optimization.
- Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, Apache Airflow, and Snowflake Snowpipe.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and availability across enterprise systems.
Event-Driven Systems
- Develop and maintain Kafka-based messaging and streaming solutions.
- Build high-performance producers and consumers for large-scale data processing.
- Support near real-time analytics and event processing.
Performance, Security & Governance
- Monitor and optimize application performance through profiling and tuning.
- Implement enterprise security best practices across applications, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and databases.
- Establish monitoring and logging using AWS CloudWatch and related tools.
- Drive engineering governance, coding standards, architecture reviews, and deployment best practices.
