Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS/Azure cloud platforms, observability, and DevOps automation. This role requires close collaboration with development, operations, and business teams to ensure highly available, secure, and scalable infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to define and implement DevOps best practices and infrastructure solutions.
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD automation pipelines for application deployment across multiple environments.
Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform or similar tools.
Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications on Kubernetes.
Implement and maintain Application Performance Monitoring (APM) and infrastructure monitoring to ensure system reliability and performance.
Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, business continuity, and audit compliance across environments.
Identify opportunities to optimize infrastructure, improve automation, and reduce operational costs.
Serve as the technical escalation point for production incidents and lead root cause analysis and resolution.
Perform cloud operational tasks including patching, AMI rehydration, cluster upgrades, and infrastructure maintenance.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership to the DevOps team.
Required Skills
8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or similar.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, containerization, and infrastructure scaling (HPA).
Experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure, including hybrid cloud environments.
Expertise in Observability, Monitoring, and APM tools.
Experience with cloud networking and security integration.
Strong troubleshooting, automation, and scripting skills (Bash, Python, or PowerShell).
Experience managing production infrastructure with high availability and disaster recovery.
Preferred Qualifications
Terraform certification or cloud certifications (AWS/Azure) are a plus.
Experience with Kubernetes cluster administration and upgrades.
Knowledge of cloud patching, AMI management, and operational best practices.
Strong leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.
