Job Title: Senior Quality Engineer
Location: Atlanta, GA
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to lead end-to-end testing activities across enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining testing strategies, managing test execution, collaborating with business and IT stakeholders, and ensuring high-quality software delivery. The candidate should have strong expertise in manual and automation testing, test management tools, and test data management.
Key Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive testing strategies, test plans, and test cases aligned with project objectives.
Lead and coordinate all testing activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and project managers to ensure quality deliverables.
Design, develop, and implement testing components and quality assurance processes.
Define appropriate testing methodologies to ensure applications meet business and technical requirements.
Review and approve all test artifacts for completeness, accuracy, and quality.
Track testing metrics, prepare status reports, and communicate testing progress to stakeholders.
Manage onshore and offshore QA teams during test execution.
Lead Test Data Management activities, including requirement gathering, data analysis, identifying data gaps, and coordinating with Configuration Management and Release Management teams.
Ensure timely provisioning of test data for testing activities.
Drive continuous process improvements and implement QA best practices.
Required Skills
Minimum 7+ years of experience in Application Testing and Quality Engineering.
Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and QA methodologies.
Experience working with:
JIRA
qTest
Confluence
ServiceNow
Strong experience in manual testing.
Knowledge of test planning, defect management, and test execution.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience managing distributed/onshore-offshore QA teams.
Preferred Skills
Automation testing experience using Selenium and UFT.
Experience with Test Data Management.
Knowledge of AI applications in Quality Engineering.
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
Preferred Certifications
CSTE (Certified Software Tester)
CSQA (Certified Software Quality Analyst)
CMST (Certified Manager of Software Testing)
CSQE (Certified Software Quality Engineer)
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant QA certifications are highly preferred.
