We are seeking an Entry-Level Financial Analyst to support business and client initiatives through business analysis, data research, reporting, and insight generation. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with BMO, possess strong banking domain knowledge, and demonstrate the ability to analyze data, leverage AI-assisted tools, and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Financial & Business Analysis
- Support client projects through business analysis and research activities.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret financial and business data.
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to improve business performance.
- Assist in developing data-driven recommendations for business stakeholders.
Data Research & Analytics
- Conduct data research and generate actionable insights.
- Utilize AI-powered tools and basic analytics techniques to identify trends and improve workflows.
- Support reporting and performance analysis activities.
- Ensure accuracy and quality of analytical outputs.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and business presentations.
- Summarize analytical findings for business and project stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate documentation of project activities and research findings.
Collaboration
- Work closely with project teams and business stakeholders.
- Participate in meetings, planning sessions, and collaborative discussions.
- Support multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, learning-focused environment.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Entry-level to 3 years of relevant experience in Financial Analysis, Business Analysis, or Banking.
- Prior BMO experience is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of banking operations and financial services.
- Basic knowledge of business analysis and data analytics.
- Experience preparing reports and business presentations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.
