Job Title: Senior ReactJS Engineer
Location : Chicago, IL
Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ReactJS Engineer to design, develop, and maintain complex, scalable front-end applications. The ideal candidate will be a front-end specialist with strong expertise in modern React patterns, performance optimization, and UI architecture, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable React applications using modern React patterns such as Hooks, functional components, and custom hooks
Lead front-end architecture decisions, including state management, component design, and performance optimization
Build reusable UI components and shared design systems to ensure consistency and scalability
Optimize applications using code splitting, lazy loading, memoization, and performance profiling
Collaborate closely with Product Managers, UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and QA teams
Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and GraphQL services
Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress
Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote front-end best practices
Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
