Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright to join our Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks for web applications while integrating them into CI/CD pipelines. This role requires strong collaboration with developers, business analysts, and QE leads to ensure high-quality product delivery aligned with security and regulatory standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright for web applications.
• Design and implement scalable and reusable automation frameworks.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps) for continuous testing.
• Perform functional, regression, end-to-end (E2E), cross-browser, and API testing.
• Collaborate with developers, BAs, and QE leadership to define test strategies and coverage.
• Optimize automation scripts for performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot automation failures and resolve issues efficiently.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with organizational security, governance, and regulatory standards.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and SDLC processes.

 

Required Skills & Experience:

• 6–8 years of experience in Quality Engineering / Automation Testing.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Playwright for web automation.
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript / TypeScript (Python knowledge is a plus).
• Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
• Experience integrating automation with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Azure DevOps.
• Solid understanding of QE methodologies, Agile practices, and SDLC.
• Hands-on experience in:
• API testing (REST services)
• Cross-browser testing
• Performance testing
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
