Position: Java Developer

Location: Remote (Must work PST hours) and NO EST candidates

Role Overview

We are looking for a Java Developer with Workday integration experience to join our engineering team. This role is primarily backend-focused, working on scalable microservices and integrations, with limited front-end exposure using React. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working remotely while aligning with PST working hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Build and support microservices-based architectures
• Develop and maintain Workday integrations, APIs, and data flows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
• Ensure high performance, security, and scalability of backend systems
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and production support
• Work closely with DevOps teams for CI/CD and deployment processes
• Provide minimal UI support using React when required

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Java (Java 8+)
• Solid experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices
• Experience working with Workday integrations (Studio, APIs, EIBs, or reports)
• Good understanding of backend system design and architecture
• Working knowledge of React (not UI-heavy)
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar
• Prior experience in remote teams
