Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Developer with strong expertise in SQL development, Snowflake data warehousing, query optimization, and performance tuning. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience working with large-scale enterprise data environments, complex relational databases, and advanced SQL development.

The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, data architects, analysts, and development teams to design, develop, optimize, and support data solutions within Snowflake while ensuring high performance, scalability, and data quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and data transformation logic within Snowflake.
• Develop efficient and optimized SQL solutions for processing large-scale enterprise datasets.
• Write and optimize complex joins, subqueries, CTEs, window functions, and analytical functions.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable data models and technical solutions.
• Work with large relational databases and enterprise data warehouse environments.
• Perform data analysis, validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting activities.
• Optimize Snowflake performance through query tuning, warehouse sizing, clustering strategies, and data partitioning techniques.
• Investigate and resolve production issues related to data quality, performance, and data processing.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand complex business processes and reporting requirements.
• Support data integration, data migration, and ETL/ELT development initiatives.
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Perform root cause analysis and provide long-term solutions for recurring data issues.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, security, and compliance across data platforms.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, data mappings, process flows, and operational procedures.
• Work effectively within globally distributed teams and deliver high-quality solutions under tight project timelines.

• Experience with Cloud Data Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of ETL tools and data pipeline development.
• Experience with Data Lake and Data Warehouse architectures.
• Familiarity with Python or scripting languages for data processing.
• Experience supporting enterprise reporting and analytics platforms.
• Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD practices.
