Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Selenium Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Core Java and Selenium Automation Framework development. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in frontend and backend test automation, API testing, database validation, and CI/CD processes within Agile environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust Selenium automation frameworks.
- Create and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Core Java.
- Develop backend automation solutions using REST Assured and Karate for API testing.
- Perform database testing using JDBC/JPA across Oracle, DB2, and Snowflake databases.
- Write and execute complex SQL queries for data validation and testing purposes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Manage test cases, defects, and project tracking through JIRA and Micro Focus ALM.
- Utilize Bitbucket and Git for source code management and version control.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and release activities.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and provide detailed documentation.
- Support manual testing efforts when required and contribute to SDLC quality processes.
Required Qualifications
- 8–10 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Test Automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Core Java and Selenium WebDriver.
- Experience designing and building Selenium Automation Frameworks from scratch.
- Strong experience in API automation using REST Assured or Karate.
- Experience with database testing and advanced SQL query development.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle, DB2, and Snowflake databases.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, JIRA, and ALM.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in distributed teams and fast-paced sprint environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in enterprise-level testing environments.
- Knowledge of continuous testing and DevOps practices.
- Experience supporting both manual and automated testing initiatives.
