Job Description
We are seeking an experienced MacOS QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in automation development and testing web browser-based applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Mac testing, XCUITest, Swift, Python, Selenium, and automation framework development. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities and experience creating scalable automation solutions for complex workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for MacOS applications and browser-based workflows.
- Create and execute automated test cases using XCUITest, Swift, Python, and Selenium.
- Develop automation solutions for web browsers including Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.
- Break down complex business workflows into reusable and maintainable automation test scenarios.
- Build and enhance automation frameworks and reporting mechanisms.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing activities.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
- Ensure quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to improve testing processes and coverage.
- Maintain detailed test documentation and reporting.
Required Qualifications
- 8–10 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation.
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in automation development within software test engineering.
- Strong experience with XCUITest and MacOS testing.
- Hands-on experience with Swift (iOS), Python, and Selenium.
- Experience testing web browser-based applications and workflows.
- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS, and modern web technologies.
- Experience testing across Chrome, Firefox, and Safari browsers.
- Experience designing and developing automation frameworks from scratch.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and departments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in enterprise-scale automation environments.
- Experience with continuous integration and automated test execution pipelines.
- Knowledge of performance and browser compatibility testing.
- Experience with automation reporting dashboards and quality metrics.
