Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in UI and API automation testing, test framework development, and CI/CD integration. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience building scalable automation solutions, developing test strategies, and ensuring software quality throughout the SDLC.
The candidate should have strong programming skills, experience with modern automation tools, and the ability to work closely with development and product teams in an Agile environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web, mobile, and API applications.
- Create reusable and maintainable automation scripts using industry-standard testing frameworks.
- Develop and execute automated functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end test cases.
- Build UI automation solutions using Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, and Appium.
- Design and execute API testing using Postman and Rest Assured.
- Develop Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) test frameworks using Cucumber.
- Create feature files, step definitions, and automated acceptance test scenarios.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git-based workflows.
- Utilize Docker for test execution, environment management, and automation deployment.
- Perform backend database validation using SQL queries and data verification techniques.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback to improve application quality and testability.
- Support continuous testing initiatives within Agile and DevOps environments.
- Execute cross-browser and cross-platform testing to ensure application compatibility.
- Monitor automation execution, generate reports, and communicate testing status to stakeholders.
- Maintain test documentation, automation standards, and framework best practices.
- Contribute to quality engineering improvements and test process optimization initiatives.
