Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Seismic LiveDocs Senior Developer with extensive experience designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-scale content automation solutions using the Seismic platform. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Seismic LiveDocs, content personalization, data integrations, workflow automation, and CRM integrations.
This role will be responsible for architecting and delivering scalable LiveDocs solutions that automate content generation, improve sales enablement effectiveness, and enhance business productivity. The candidate will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Legal, and IT teams to transform complex business requirements into robust technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Seismic LiveDocs Solution Architecture
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of complex Seismic LiveDocs solutions.
- Design scalable, maintainable, and high-performing LiveDocs templates and frameworks.
- Translate business requirements into automated content generation solutions using advanced LiveDocs capabilities.
- Define development standards, governance practices, and implementation methodologies for LiveDocs solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend enhancements to improve content automation and personalization.
LiveDocs Development & Configuration
- Develop, configure, and optimize advanced LiveDocs templates using Seismic LiveDocs functionality and scripting capabilities.
- Build dynamic content generation solutions utilizing:
- Conditional Logic
- Nested Loops
- Dynamic Tables
- Data Transformations
- Calculations
- Conditional Formatting
- Personalized Content Delivery
- Configure automated document generation workflows and content publishing processes.
- Support version management, deployment, testing, and release activities.
Integration Development
- Integrate Seismic with enterprise applications including:
- Salesforce CRM
- Microsoft Dynamics
- CPQ Platforms
- ERP Systems
- Snowflake
- Internal Databases
- Develop and support REST API and web service integrations.
- Design and implement data synchronization processes across platforms.
- Leverage Seismic APIs, Data Connectors, and integration frameworks for seamless data exchange.
Data Management & Automation
- Design data models supporting dynamic content generation requirements.
- Perform data mapping, transformation, validation, and synchronization activities.
- Build automation workflows that improve content creation efficiency and business productivity.
- Support enterprise content management and workflow automation initiatives.
Performance Optimization & Support
- Analyze and optimize LiveDocs templates for performance and scalability.
- Troubleshoot complex content generation, integration, and data-related issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions.
- Monitor platform performance and recommend improvements.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional business and technical teams to gather and refine requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and content administrators.
- Develop technical documentation, architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and user training materials.
- Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and best practice workshops.
Strategic Initiatives
- Stay current with Seismic platform enhancements, LiveDocs innovations, and industry trends.
- Recommend new capabilities and automation opportunities to maximize platform value.
- Contribute to long-term sales enablement and content automation strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 8-10 years of overall software development and enterprise application experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience working specifically with Seismic LiveDocs.
- Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-level LiveDocs solutions.
- Strong experience with content automation, document generation, and personalization.
- Experience integrating Seismic with CRM, CPQ, ERP, and external enterprise systems.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, content management, and workflow automation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
