Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Manager – AI/ML Strategy & AIOps to lead enterprise-wide AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, and AIOps initiatives within a large healthcare environment. This is a strategic leadership role focused on defining the AI vision, identifying high-value AI use cases, building roadmaps, and driving AI productization across the organization.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of AI/ML expertise, technology strategy, enterprise architecture, product management, and executive stakeholder engagement. This role is focused on leadership, innovation, and governance rather than hands-on model development or engineering execution.
Key Responsibilities
AI Strategy & Transformation Leadership
- Define and drive the organization's AI/ML, Generative AI, and Agentic AI vision and strategy.
- Identify opportunities where AI, intelligent agents, and automation can create measurable business value.
- Establish enterprise AI adoption frameworks, governance models, and best practices.
- Partner with executive leadership to align AI initiatives with business objectives and digital transformation goals.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies, platforms, and industry trends to guide strategic investments.
AI Roadmap Development
- Develop and maintain enterprise AI/ML and AIOps roadmaps.
- Prioritize AI initiatives based on business impact, feasibility, risk, and organizational readiness.
- Create phased implementation plans that support long-term AI maturity and scalability.
- Define success metrics, KPIs, and value realization frameworks for AI investments.
AIOps & Intelligent Operations
- Lead the development of enterprise AIOps strategy and operational intelligence initiatives.
- Drive adoption of AI-powered monitoring, predictive analytics, incident management, and operational automation.
- Identify opportunities to improve system reliability, performance, and operational efficiency through AI.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, DevOps, and operations teams to implement intelligent operational capabilities.
AI Productization & Innovation
- Drive the transition of AI concepts and proofs of concept into scalable enterprise products and platforms.
- Establish frameworks for AI solution lifecycle management, governance, and continuous improvement.
- Define standards for AI product development, deployment, monitoring, and business adoption.
- Support AI platform selection, architecture reviews, and capability assessments.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to AI, ML, Data Science, Engineering, and Operations teams.
- Influence senior stakeholders and executive leadership on AI opportunities and investment decisions.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between business, technology, data, and operational teams.
- Mentor teams on AI strategy, innovation practices, and enterprise adoption approaches.
Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Establish AI governance frameworks addressing security, compliance, ethics, and responsible AI practices.
- Ensure AI initiatives comply with healthcare industry regulations and organizational standards.
- Develop policies for model governance, data usage, explainability, and risk management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in technology leadership, digital transformation, AI/ML strategy, or enterprise architecture.
- Proven experience defining and executing enterprise AI/ML strategies.
- Strong experience building AI roadmaps and driving large-scale transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience leading AIOps, intelligent automation, or operational transformation programs.
- Experience driving AI productization and enterprise adoption.
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working within regulated industries such as Healthcare, Life Sciences, Financial Services, or Insurance is highly preferred.
