Job Summary

We are seeking a Regulatory Reporting FRA Analyst with strong experience in capital management and regulatory reporting within top-tier financial institutions. The ideal candidate will support data analysis, reporting, and governance initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and improving data quality and reporting processes.


Key Responsibilities

Regulatory Reporting & Data Analysis

  • Support regulatory reporting processes including:
    • FR Y-15 (U.S. risk assets reporting)
    • 2052A / 6G reporting
  • Collect, analyze, and prepare data for regulatory submissions
  • Assist in manual FP&A regulatory reporting processes

Data Management & Reporting

  • Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards using BI tools
  • Extract and transform data from multiple source systems
  • Prepare clean, accurate datasets for analysis and reporting

Dashboarding & Technical Support

  • Support development of dashboards using Power BI
  • Assist in building and optimizing SQL queries
  • Work closely with data and reporting teams to enhance analytics capabilities

Data Quality & Governance

  • Evaluate and enhance data governance and reporting practices
  • Perform data validation to ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency
  • Identify trends, anomalies, and inconsistencies in datasets
  • Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements

Documentation & Process Support

  • Document reporting logic, definitions, and processes
  • Maintain data and reporting documentation for audit and compliance
  • Organize and manage data across platforms such as Excel, SharePoint, and enterprise systems

Required Skills & Qualifications

Core Skills

  • 6–8 years of experience in:
    • Regulatory reporting
    • Data analysis within financial services
  • Experience with:
    • Capital management (CAT-2 / CAT-3 institutions)
    • FR Y-15 reporting
    • 2052A / 6G regulatory frameworks

Technical Skills

  • Strong proficiency in:
    • SQL
    • Power BI
    • Excel
  • Experience with data extraction, transformation, and reporting tools

Domain Expertise

  • Strong understanding of:
    • Risk and regulatory compliance analytics
    • Data governance and reporting standards
  • Experience working in highly regulated financial environments

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Effective communication and documentation skills
