Priority: New
Jersey-based candidates preferred. Candidates from other locations must be
willing to relocate and work onsite from Day 1.
Mandatory Requirements

- Strong Capital Markets domain expertise is mandatory.
- CFA Certification (Completed or Currently Pursuing) is highly preferred.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Systems Analyst with strong expertise in Capital Markets, Asset Management, and Financial Data Platforms. This role serves as the bridge between business stakeholders, data teams, and technology organizations, driving data onboarding, production support, issue resolution, process optimization, and Agile delivery initiatives.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of business analysis, technical analysis, SQL expertise, financial services domain knowledge, and production support experience while taking full ownership of data products throughout their lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
Business & Data Analysis
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
- Translate complex financial business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
- Define data mappings, business rules, validation rules, and transformation logic.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure solutions align with business objectives.
Data Product Ownership
- Own end-to-end delivery and support of financial services data products.
- Manage data onboarding activities and ensure successful production deployment.
- Ensure data accuracy, stability, completeness, and timeliness.
- Maintain accountability throughout the data lifecycle.
Production Support & Issue Resolution
- Act as the primary Technical BSA for BAU and production-critical issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement long-term remediation strategies.
- Investigate complex data and operational issues independently.
- Drive issue resolution through completion rather than escalation.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with:
- Front Office
- Portfolio Managers
- Risk Teams
- Operations Teams
- Technology Teams
- Data Engineering Teams
- Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Bachelor's Degree in:

- 5+ years of experience in one or more of the following:

- CFA Charterholder or Candidate progressing through CFA Program.
- Experience with Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar financial data providers.
- Financial Modeling expertise using Excel and Python.
- Experience with Data Governance initiatives.
- Experience with Process Automation programs.
- Experience working within globally distributed teams.
- Exposure to cloud-based data platforms and modern data architectures.
