Job Title: Oracle EBS Technical Architect

Location: York, PA

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Technical Architect with strong expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite R12, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Finance modules. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting technical solutions, conducting Proof of Concepts (PoCs), reviewing technical designs, resolving critical production issues, and providing leadership for enterprise Oracle EBS initiatives.

This role requires a highly skilled professional with deep technical knowledge of Oracle EBS architecture, Oracle development technologies, integrations, and enterprise application support.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Technical Leadership

• Design and recommend scalable Oracle EBS solutions for complex business requirements.
• Provide technical architecture guidance across Oracle EBS Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Finance modules.
• Evaluate new technologies, tools, and frameworks for Oracle EBS ecosystem enhancements.
• Conduct Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to assess feasibility and business value of proposed solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and development teams to define technical strategies.

Technical Design Review & Governance

• Review and validate technical designs, development standards, and coding practices.
• Ensure solution designs align with enterprise architecture standards and business objectives.
• Provide technical mentoring and guidance to development teams.
• Establish best practices for Oracle EBS customization, integration, and reporting solutions.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout project lifecycles.

Development & Integration Oversight

• Oversee development activities involving Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, BI Publisher, Oracle APEX, and REST APIs.
• Review customizations, extensions, interfaces, reports, and integrations within Oracle EBS.
• Support integration architecture involving internal systems and third-party applications.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.

Production Support & Incident Management

• Lead technical resolution efforts for Major Incidents impacting business operations.
• Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent corrective actions for recurring issues.
• Provide technical leadership during critical production outages and system disruptions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure business continuity and operational stability.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and technology modernization.
• Evaluate Oracle APEX and emerging technologies for enhanced business capabilities.
• Recommend improvements to existing Oracle EBS processes and technical architecture.
• Drive innovation initiatives to improve efficiency and system performance.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Oracle E-Business Suite development, architecture, and support.
• Strong expertise in Oracle EBS R12 Discrete Manufacturing modules.
• Extensive experience with Oracle Supply Chain Management (SCM) modules.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Finance modules.
• Hands-on expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development.
• Experience with Oracle Forms customization and development.
• Strong experience in BI Publisher report development.
• Experience designing and implementing REST API integrations.
• Proven ability to architect solutions for complex enterprise business requirements.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience leading technical teams and reviewing solution designs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Oracle APEX development.
• Experience in Reverse Logistics and Forward Logistics business processes.
• Experience supporting Device Repair operations and service management processes.
• Knowledge of Oracle integration frameworks and middleware technologies.
• Experience with enterprise application modernization initiatives.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
