Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microservices Architecture, and Cloud-Native Application Development. The ideal candidate will possess deep hands-on experience in Java/J2EE technologies, enterprise application modernization, DevOps, Kubernetes orchestration, and large-scale batch processing systems.

The candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying scalable enterprise solutions within a fast-paced Agile environment. This role requires strong experience in financial services, cloud transformation initiatives, distributed systems, and CI/CD-driven software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Develop cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) leveraging services such as:
• GKE
• GCE
• BigQuery
• Pub/Sub
• Dataflow
• Dataproc
• Cloud Storage
• Lead cloud transformation and modernization initiatives for enterprise applications.
• Design and implement scalable Microservices and RESTful APIs with secure authentication mechanisms.
• Build and support high-volume batch processing systems and distributed computing platforms.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Maven, Git, and DevOps best practices.
• Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate deployments using Kubernetes and GKE.
• Work with deployment and orchestration tools including:
• Docker
• Kubernetes
• OpenStack
• Chef
• Salt
• Ansible
• Jenkins
• Implement enterprise security standards including:
• Encryption
• Certificate Management
• Key Management
• OAuth
• IAM
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Technical Architects, and Application teams to define scalable architecture solutions.
• Develop responsive UI components using JavaScript, JQuery, JQWidgets, and modern frontend frameworks.
• Perform system integration, API development, and third-party service integrations.
• Develop shell scripts, automation utilities, and backend services using Python, Node.js, and Linux scripting.
• Design and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database performance for Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL databases.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development methodologies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, debugging, and production support activities.
• Implement software engineering best practices including:

• Support monitoring, logging, and operational stability for production systems.
• Work closely with business stakeholders and leadership teams to deliver high-quality enterprise solutions.
