Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect / eCommerce Solution Architect with deep expertise in BigCommerce, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), and enterprise digital commerce architecture. The ideal candidate will lead architecture strategy, platform integrations, cloud transformation, and enterprise-scale commerce modernization initiatives.

This role requires strong experience in digital commerce ecosystems, API-first architecture, cloud-native design, and enterprise integration strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Architecture & Solution Design

• Define end-to-end enterprise architecture for digital commerce platforms using:
  • Adobe Experience Manager (AEM Sites, Assets, Cloud Service)
  • BigCommerce
  • Adobe Commerce / Magento
  • Commercetools
• Design scalable, secure, and high-performance architectures integrating:
  • CMS platforms
  • Commerce platforms
  • CRM systems
  • CDP platforms
  • Third-party enterprise applications
• Lead:
  • Architecture blueprinting
  • Technical governance
  • Architecture reviews
  • Design approvals

Integration & Cloud Architecture

• Define and implement integration strategies using:
  • REST APIs
  • GraphQL
  • Microservices
  • Event-driven architecture
• Drive cloud-native architecture strategy across:
  • AWS
  • Azure
• Establish DevOps and CI/CD best practices, including:
  • Cloud Manager
  • Deployment automation
  • Release governance

Technical Leadership

• Provide architecture leadership to:
  • Development teams
  • Solution architects
  • Technical stakeholders
• Ensure architecture aligns with:
  • Performance standards
  • Security best practices
  • Scalability requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture / solution architecture / digital commerce architecture
• Strong hands-on expertise in:
  • BigCommerce (highly preferred / core requirement)
  • Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.5 / AEM Cloud Service)
  • Adobe Commerce / Magento
  • Commercetools
• Strong architecture experience with:
  • Microservices
  • API-first architecture
  • Event-driven systems
• Strong technical expertise in:
  • Java
  • Spring Boot
  • React / SPA integrations
• Experience with:
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • DevOps practices
  • Cloud deployment strategies
• Strong understanding of:
  • Headless commerce architecture
  • Digital Asset Management (DAM)
  • Personalization frameworks
  • Commerce integrations
