Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Engineer with strong Fraud Domain expertise and hands-on experience with the Fiserv Financial Crime Risk Management (FCRM) platform. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting fraud prevention and compliance initiatives by gathering business requirements, designing technical solutions, and supporting the implementation of fraud and risk management systems.
This role requires deep expertise in SQL Server, ETL processes, Power BI reporting, PowerShell scripting, and fraud operations workflows. The candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams, compliance groups, and risk management teams to deliver scalable and compliant fraud technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to fraud detection, risk management, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
- Support technology product planning and development with strong emphasis on Fiserv Financial Crime Risk Management (FCRM).
- Document workflows, data mapping, technical specifications, system configurations, and operational processes within Fraud Factory environments.
- Create detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical documentation using Jira and Agile methodologies.
- Collaborate with business, risk, compliance, and technology teams to design fraud prevention and third-party risk management solutions.
- Support the full product lifecycle including:
- Requirements analysis
- Solution design
- Development
- Testing
- Deployment
- Production support
- Develop and optimize SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and ETL processes for fraud analytics and reporting.
- Design and develop enterprise-level Power BI dashboards and reports for fraud operations and compliance monitoring.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation, monitoring, and operational support.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validation, and defect resolution activities.
- Ensure alignment of fraud technology solutions with regulatory and compliance standards.
- Troubleshoot system, reporting, and data integrity issues within fraud management platforms.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve fraud detection workflows and operational efficiencies.
- Assist with integration and processing of JSON-based data feeds and APIs.
- Support ongoing enhancements and optimization of fraud and risk management applications.
Required Skills
Fraud & Risk Management
- Strong Fraud Domain experience
- Hands-on experience with Fiserv Financial Crime Risk Management (FCRM) platform
- Knowledge of fraud detection workflows, risk controls, and compliance processes
- Experience supporting Fraud Factory environments
Database & ETL
- Advanced expertise in Microsoft SQL Server
- Strong ETL development and data integration experience
- Experience writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning
Reporting & Visualization
- Extensive experience designing and developing Power BI reports and dashboards
- Experience creating operational, compliance, and executive-level reporting solutions
Automation & Scripting
- Strong experience developing PowerShell scripts
- Experience with automation and operational scripting solutions
Additional Technical Skills
- Experience with JSON data structures and integrations
- Python scripting experience is a plus
- Experience with Jira and Agile development methodologies
- Understanding of system configurations and technical documentation
