Role Descriptions:
We are looking for a Junior AWS Data Engineer to support the design| development| and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
The ideal candidate will work under the guidance of senior data engineers and contribute to building reliable ETL processes that enable data-driven decision-making.
This role is well-suited for candidates with a strong foundation in Python| SQL| and AWS data services| who are eager to learn and grow in a cloud data engineering environment.
Assist in the development and maintenance of ETL data pipelines using AWS services such as AWS Glue| S3| Redshift| and Lambda Support data ingestion| transformation| and validation from multiple structured and semi-structured data sources Write and optimize SQL queries for data transformation and analysis
Develop basic Python PySpark scripts for data processing and automation Participate in data quality checks| monitoring| and basic troubleshooting of data pipelines
Collaborate with senior engineers| analysts| and stakeholders to understand data requirements
Follow established coding standards| security practices| and data governance guidelines
Assist in documentation of data pipelines| processes| and technical designs
Required Skills Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science| Information Technology| Engineering| or a related field02 (or up to 3) years of experience in data engineering| data development| or cloud-based projects
Working knowledge of AWS servicesS3| AWS Glue| Redshift| Lambda (at least 23 of these)Proficiency in SQL and basic-to-intermediate Python
Familiarity with ETL concepts| data warehousing| and relational databases
Understanding of basic cloud concepts and distributed systems
Experience with Git or any version control system
