Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP FS-RI Consultant with deep expertise in SAP Reinsurance Management (SAP FS-RI) and the insurance/reinsurance domain. The ideal candidate will support configuration, integration, business process analysis, and production support activities for enterprise reinsurance operations.
The candidate should possess strong functional expertise in treaty and facultative reinsurance, SAP FS-RI configuration, reinsurance accounting, SAP S/4HANA Finance integration, and period-end financial processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements related to reinsurance operations and translate them into SAP FS-RI functional solutions.
- Configure and support SAP FS-RI modules for:
- Treaty Reinsurance
- Facultative Reinsurance
- Proportional and Non-Proportional structures
- Ceded and Assumed reinsurance
- Set up and maintain:
- Reinsurance contracts
- Treaties
- Sections
- Participation structures
- Support:
- Premium calculation
- Estimations
- Claims processing
- Recoveries
- Commissions
- Settlements
- Reinstatement premiums
- Unearned Premium Reserve (UPR)
- Ensure accurate accounting postings and reconciliation with SAP S/4HANA Finance modules.
- Support:
- Month-end close
- Quarter-end close
- Year-end close activities
- Work closely with:
- Finance teams
- Actuarial teams
- Business stakeholders
- Technical integration teams
- Support integration with:
- SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI-GL, FI-AP, FI-AR)
- SAP FS-CD
- Upstream and downstream enterprise systems
- Analyze posting logic, reconciliation issues, document flow, and data discrepancies.
- Prepare:
- Functional specifications
- Configuration documents
- Test cases
- Business process documentation
- Support SIT, UAT, defect management, and production support activities.
- Participate in:
- Change management
- Transport management
- Release deployments
- Ensure compliance with:
- Internal controls
- Audit standards
- Regulatory requirements
- Provide mentoring and knowledge transfer support to junior and offshore team members.

Preferred Qualifications
