Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Windchill Developer with strong expertise in Windchill PLM and Core Java development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom solutions and enhancements within the Windchill PLM environment while collaborating closely with Agile teams to deliver scalable and high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, customize, and implement solutions within the Windchill PLM platform.
- Develop and maintain customizations, integrations, workflows, and enhancements using Core Java and Windchill technologies.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and PI planning following SAFe Agile methodology.
- Assist in story refinement, effort estimation, and technical design discussions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within the Windchill PLM ecosystem.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to squad members for solving complex development challenges.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security practices, and application performance requirements.
- Stay updated with Windchill PLM enhancements, upgrades, and industry best practices.
- Support deployment activities, testing, and production issue resolution.
- Assist in training and knowledge-sharing sessions for team members on Windchill functionalities and enhancements.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Windchill PLM Development.
- Expertise in Core Java development.
- Experience with Windchill customization, configuration, and integrations.
- Hands-on experience with Windchill APIs, workflows, and data model customization.
- Knowledge of PLM concepts and product lifecycle management processes.
- Experience working in Agile/SAFe environments.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Windchill PDMLink and related modules.
- Knowledge of REST/SOAP integrations.
- Experience with SQL databases and query optimization.
- Familiarity with build and deployment tools.
- Exposure to cloud and DevOps practices is a plus.
