Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Product Owner with strong expertise in Life Insurance, Final Expense products, Agile delivery, and digital insurance platforms. This role will lead the end-to-end delivery and enhancement of Final Expense insurance products within a fast-paced insurtech environment.

The ideal candidate will combine product ownership, project management, insurance domain expertise, and Agile execution to drive scalable, customer-centric, and compliant insurance solutions.

This role requires close collaboration with engineering, underwriting, compliance, operations, and carrier partners to optimize digital customer journeys from quote through policy issuance.

Product Ownership Responsibilities

• Define and manage the product vision, roadmap, and product backlog for Final Expense insurance offerings
• Lead end-to-end product development initiatives including:
• Policy structure
• Underwriting workflows
• Product enhancements
• Digital customer experiences
• Optimize customer journeys:
• Quote
• eApplication
• Underwriting
• Policy issuance
• Servicing
• Collaborate with:
• Engineering teams
• UX/UI teams
• Carrier partners
• Compliance teams
• Underwriting teams
• Ensure alignment with:

• Insurance data exchange protocols
• Regulatory compliance requirements
• Support policy document generation and eApplication platforms
• Conduct product discovery, feature validation, experimentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
