Role: Product Owner (FINEOS – Insurance Domain)
Location: Philadelphia, PA / Remote
Duration: 12+ Months
Description:
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner with strong expertise in FINEOS and Insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have a blend of product management and business analysis experience, with the ability to drive product vision, manage backlogs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the product backlog:
- Prioritize, refine, and maintain backlog items
- Ensure alignment with business goals
- Engage with:
- Users
- Stakeholders
- Business leaders
to understand priorities, capabilities, and product vision - Collaborate with peer Product Owners to:
- Define features
- Articulate business value
- Support sprint and product demos
- Lead and facilitate:
- Agile ceremonies
- Workshops
- Cross-functional communication
- Conduct and lead Agile Release Train (ART) demos for features and epics
- Coordinate and manage:
- UAT planning and execution
- Release cycles and defect resolution
- Ensure product artifacts meet:
- Definition of Ready (DoR)
- Definition of Done (DoD)
- Develop and track progress against the product roadmap
- Identify and resolve:
- Impediments
- Process gaps
- Delivery challenges
- Align with product managers and stakeholders across teams and ARTs
- Provide mentoring, feedback, and guidance to teams
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in:
- Product Ownership
- Product Management
- Business Analysis
- Mandatory:
- Strong experience with FINEOS
- Insurance domain expertise
- Strong understanding of:
- Agile / SAFe frameworks
- Product lifecycle management
- Proven experience in:
- Stakeholder management
- Client and vendor coordination
- Cross-functional collaboration
- Excellent:
- Communication and presentation skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Key Competencies
