Job Title: MES Developer - Camstar / Opcenter
Location: Raritan, NJ
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Camstar Opcenter Developer with strong expertise in Siemens Opcenter (Camstar) to design, develop, and support manufacturing execution system (MES) solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in configuration, customization, and integration of Camstar applications in enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement solutions using Siemens Opcenter (Camstar MES)
- Configure and customize Camstar components, workflows, and business processes
- Develop and maintain Camstar objects, forms, services, and extensions
- Work on system integration with ERP and other enterprise applications
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and deployment of Camstar solutions
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical designs
- Troubleshoot and resolve application and production issues
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and system performance guidelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, and architects
- Support system enhancements, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8–10 years of experience in software development / MES systems
- Strong hands-on experience with Camstar (Siemens Opcenter)
- Experience in configuration, customization, and development within Camstar
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and MES concepts
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience in end-to-end development lifecycle (SDLC)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with integration of Camstar with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Knowledge of .NET / C# or related technologies (if applicable)
- Familiarity with SQL and database concepts
- Experience in Agile development environments
