Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst with strong expertise in Manufacturing ERP systems (preferably QAD) to support and enhance enterprise manufacturing operations. This role involves full SDLC ownership, business process design, ERP customization, production support, and cross-functional coordination across Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, and Traceability domains.

The ideal candidate blends functional manufacturing expertise with ERP technical knowledge, strong documentation skills, and hands-on support experience.

Key Responsibilities

ERP & Business Process Leadership

• Gather and analyze business requirements for Manufacturing ERP systems (QAD preferred).
• Design and document As-Is and To-Be business processes.
• Implement business processes aligned with market best practices across manufacturing plants.
• Encourage ERP standardization while supporting customization where necessary.

Full SDLC Ownership

• Participate in full lifecycle:
• Requirements gathering
• Design
• Configuration & setup
• Testing
• Implementation
• Production support
• Develop detailed system design documentation.
• Conduct technical reviews and walkthroughs.
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues (RAID management).

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Lead and support:
• Functional testing
• System testing
• Integration testing
• Unit testing
• Regression testing
• Document test cases, results, and validation processes.

---

Production Support & Enhancements

• Provide production support within a manufacturing environment.
• Assist in troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Manage enhancements to existing ERP systems.
• Maintain familiarity with customized QAD configurations.

Cross-Functional & PMO Governance

• Collaborate with:
• Supply Chain
• Warehouse Management
• Traceability
• IT Leadership
• Business stakeholders
• Manage initiative status reporting and stakeholder communication.
• Ensure initiatives follow established IT PMO governance practices.
• Maintain RAID logs and milestone tracking.
• Support change management across full SDLC.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–5+ years supporting and customizing QAD or similar ERP systems.
• Strong experience in:
• Business process design & maintenance
• Testing execution & documentation
• Full SDLC (Waterfall & Agile)
• Experience in manufacturing production support environments.
• Experience integrating ERP systems with other enterprise systems.
• Knowledge of:
• Functional/System/Integration/Regression testing
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Progress OpenEdge ABL.
• Experience with TailorPro, Pro2, and QAD support tools.
• Exposure to ERP integrations using various middleware technologies.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing best practices.
