Job Title: Loan IQ Developer
Location: Stamford, CT
Duration: 12+ Months
Experience Required: 8–10 Years
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Loan IQ Developer to design, develop, and support customizations, integrations, and enhancements on the Finastra Loan IQ platform. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in syndicated commercial lending workflows, strong technical skills, and experience working in Agile delivery environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Development & Customization
· Develop, customize, and enhance Loan IQ modules including Deals, Facilities, and Loans.
· Utilize Loan IQ SDK, APIs, Event Manager, and underlying data model to implement new features and enhancements.
· Perform unit testing and support end-to-end system testing activities.
Integration
· Design and build integrations between Loan IQ and external systems such as:
o Mainframe systems
o Java / .NET applications
o Cloud platforms (AWS)
· Implement interfaces using messaging technologies (Kafka, MQ) and/or ETL tools.
· Support real-time and batch-based data integrations.
Analysis & Design
· Analyze complex business processes related to syndicated corporate lending.
· Create and interpret BRDs / FSDs and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
· Provide estimates and technical inputs during planning and grooming sessions.
Support & Optimization
· Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
· Optimize Loan IQ workflows and improve system performance.
· Provide ongoing application support and maintenance.
Collaboration
· Work closely with business analysts, operations, QA, and other development teams.
· Participate in code reviews, sprint ceremonies, and testing activities within an Agile framework.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Loan IQ Expertise
· 5+ years of hands-on experience with Finastra Loan IQ.
· Strong experience with Loan IQ SDK, APIs, Data Model, and Event Manager.
Technical Skills
· Strong proficiency in Core Java.
· Advanced SQL skills with Oracle and/or SQL Server.
· Experience with XML / JSON.
· Hands-on experience with messaging systems such as Kafka and MQ.
Domain Knowledge
· Deep understanding of syndicated commercial/corporate lending lifecycles, workflows, and data structures.
Methodologies & Tools
· Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
· Exposure to BDD/TDD and DevOps practices.
Nice to Have:
· Experience integrating Loan IQ with cloud-based platforms.
· Exposure to large-scale financial systems and regulatory environments.
· Prior experience working in BFSI programs.
