Job Title: PTC Windchill Administrator
Location: West Chester, PA
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Windchill Administrator / Deployment Engineer with strong expertise in PTC Windchill administration, Linux operations, Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, and release management. The ideal candidate will support deployment and operational activities across Dev, QA, and Production environments while ensuring compliance with regulated MedTech and quality standards.
The candidate should have hands-on experience managing enterprise PLM environments, executing deployments, troubleshooting Linux-based systems, and coordinating release activities within Agile delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support PTC Windchill environments across Development, QA, and Production.
- Perform end-to-end deployment activities including:
- Configuration updates
- Environment validation
- Release implementation
- Post-deployment verification
- Execute application lifecycle operations with full administrative access.
- Manage deployment-related activities using Jenkins pipelines and CI/CD tools.
- Perform Linux administration tasks including:
- File management
- Service operations
- Log analysis
- Troubleshooting
- Support rollback procedures and production issue resolution.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including:
- Daily standups
- Sprint planning
- Backlog refinement
- Track release tasks, defects, and deployment work items in Jira.
- Ensure compliance with:
- Change management procedures
- Release controls
- Operational validation standards
- Audit and regulatory requirements
- Maintain deployment documentation, operational runbooks, and release checklists.
- Monitor deployments and proactively identify risks, gaps, and process improvements.
- Coordinate with release managers, developers, QA teams, and infrastructure teams for deployment readiness.

- Strong experience with PTC Windchill Administration
- Experience with PLM environments and deployment support
- Strong Linux administration experience
- Hands-on expertise with:
- Jenkins
- CI/CD pipelines
- Deployment automation
- Shell scripting (preferred)
- Experience with:
- Jira
- Release management tools
- Monitoring and logging tools
- Knowledge of:
- Change management
- Production support
- Incident management
- Rollback procedures
Domain Experience
- Experience supporting business-critical systems in regulated environments such as:

- Healthcare

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Computer Science
- Information Systems
- Engineering
- Related Technical Discipline
- 3–5+ years of hands-on Windchill administration and deployment experience
- 3–5+ years of Linux administration experience
- Certifications or formal training in:
- Windchill
- Linux
- Release Management (preferred)
Preferred Skills
- Experience with:
- Teamcenter PLM
- Enterprise PLM integrations
- Production release governance
- Agile/Scrum delivery models
- Familiarity with compliance-driven deployment processes and audit readiness.
