Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst (IAM) to support the design, implementation, and optimization of Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions. The ideal candidate will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business requirements into secure, scalable IAM solutions. This role requires strong expertise in IAM technologies, identity governance, compliance, and enterprise application integrations.

The successful candidate will have experience with IAM lifecycle management, Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), Active Directory, LDAP, APIs, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document IAM requirements.
• Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications.
• Define business processes and use cases for:
• User Onboarding, Offboarding, and Role Changes (Joiner-Mover-Leaver)
• Access Request and Approval Workflows
• Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
• Conduct gap analysis of existing IAM processes and recommend improvements.
• Create business process documentation, workflow diagrams, and functional specifications.

IAM Solution Design

• Partner with IAM Architects to design and implement IAM solutions.
• Support implementation of:
• Single Sign-On (SSO)
• Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
• Identity Federation (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect/OIDC)
• Assist in designing:
• Role Models
• Entitlement Mapping
• Access Policies
• Approval Workflows
• Develop process flows, system diagrams, and data models.

Technical Analysis & Integration

• Analyze and document integrations between IAM platforms and enterprise systems.
• Support integrations with:
• Active Directory
• LDAP
• Workday
• SAP SuccessFactors
• Salesforce
• ServiceNow
• Collaborate with development teams on IAM configurations and enhancements.
• Support API-based integrations, data mapping, and provisioning workflows.

Identity Governance & Compliance

• Support implementation of Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) solutions.
• Define and document:
• Access Certification Campaigns
• Segregation of Duties (SoD) Rules
• User Access Reviews
• Ensure compliance with:
• SOX
• GDPR
• PCI-DSS
• ISO 27001
• Assist with audit preparation, remediation tracking, and compliance reporting.

Testing & Validation

• Develop test strategies, test cases, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans.
• Perform:
• Functional Testing
• Integration Testing
• UAT
• Validate provisioning and de-provisioning workflows.
• Ensure IAM implementations meet business and security requirements.

Required Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst with a focus on IAM.
• Strong knowledge of Identity & Access Management principles and best practices.
• Experience with IAM lifecycle management and Identity Governance solutions.
• Hands-on experience with SSO, MFA, SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect (OIDC).
• Experience integrating IAM platforms with Active Directory, LDAP, HR systems, and enterprise applications.
• Strong understanding of RBAC, access provisioning, and identity lifecycle management.
• Experience supporting compliance initiatives including SOX, GDPR, PCI-DSS, and ISO 27001.
• Experience creating business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise IAM platforms such as SailPoint, Saviynt, Okta, Ping Identity, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), or CyberArk.
• Knowledge of cloud IAM and Zero Trust security principles.
• Familiarity with Identity Governance automation and access certification processes.
• Experience supporting enterprise security and audit initiatives.
