Job Title: Senior Network Engineer (AWS ELB & Load Balancer Migration Specialist)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Engineer with deep expertise in AWS infrastructure and Elastic Load Balancing (ELB). The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience analyzing application traffic across multiple network layers (L4–L7) and leading load balancer migration initiatives. This role requires both technical excellence and strong communication skills to support cross-functional teams and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage AWS-based network infrastructure, focusing on Elastic Load Balancing (ELB).
- Analyze and troubleshoot application traffic across Layers 4–7.
- Lead and execute load balancer migration projects with minimal downtime.
- Configure, optimize, and maintain load balancing solutions for high availability and performance.
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure seamless integrations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Handle IT equipment installations, configurations, and movement as required.
- Document network configurations, processes, and migration strategies.
- Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance optimization.
Required Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, especially Elastic Load Balancing (ELB).
- Expertise in network traffic analysis across Layers 4–7 (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, etc.).
- Proven experience in load balancer migration (on-prem to cloud or cloud-to-cloud).
- Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and security principles.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network and application performance issues.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills (ability to work with non-technical users).
- Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working independently.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing work schedules and environments.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with AVI Load Balancer (VMware NSX Advanced Load Balancer).
- Familiarity with hybrid cloud networking architectures.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Splunk, etc.).
- Experience with DevOps or Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
