Role: Network Engineer
Location: Oakland CA- Onsite
Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support our growing network infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have experience with routing, switching, troubleshooting, and network security.
Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues
- Troubleshoot LAN/WAN and internet-related problems
- Ensure network security and system availability
- Support VPN, wireless, and cloud network environments
- Coordinate with IT teams for network upgrades and maintenance
- Maintain network documentation and reports
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, and VPN
- Experience with Cisco or similar networking devices
- Understanding of network security concepts
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
