Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Analyst / Business Analyst with strong expertise in Playwright Automation, Selenium, QA methodologies, and business analysis. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to gather and validate business requirements while ensuring high-quality application delivery through manual and automated testing practices.
The candidate should have strong experience in end-to-end application workflows, microservices-based applications, Agile methodologies, and test automation framework maintenance. This role requires excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills along with hands-on QA automation expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage stakeholders across departments to gather, validate, and prioritize business requirements.
- Analyze end-to-end business processes and application workflows across multiple systems.
- Translate business requirements into detailed user stories, functional specifications, and development-ready features.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, and test cases for manual and automation testing.
- Perform System Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Create and execute automated test scripts using Playwright, Selenium, or other automation tools.
- Maintain and enhance automation frameworks and reusable test suites.
- Identify, troubleshoot, document, and track software defects through resolution.
- Collaborate with development, QA, product, and business teams to resolve dependencies and align technical solutions with business objectives.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily standups, retrospectives, and release planning.
- Conduct impact analysis and gap assessments to support solution design and delivery.
- Validate microservices workflows, APIs, and integrated application processes.
- Ensure QA best practices, testing standards, and methodologies are consistently followed.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Playwright Automation Tool.
- Hands-on experience in Selenium Automation Testing.
- Strong understanding of QA processes, methodologies, and SDLC/STLC.
- Experience working on multiple enterprise applications and business processes.
- Expertise in creating manual test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.
- Experience executing automation test suites and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of System Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, and UAT.
- Experience understanding Microservices Architecture and application workflows.
- Ability to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with API testing and validation.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with defect management and test management tools such as JIRA, ALM, or Azure DevOps.
- Prior experience in enterprise-scale applications and distributed systems.
