SAP Datasphere Consultant

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP Datasphere Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in SAP Datasphere implementation, SAP S/4HANA data integration, Azure Data Lake connectivity, and SAP data modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have proven experience designing and implementing SAP data movement architectures, replacing legacy replication solutions, and enabling scalable enterprise analytics platforms.
This role requires deep technical knowledge of SAP data integration, cloud data architecture, and modern SAP analytics/data engineering ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
SAP Datasphere Implementation
- Lead and support SAP Datasphere implementation initiatives for enterprise data modernization programs.
- Design scalable SAP data integration architectures using SAP Datasphere.
- Configure and optimize Datasphere environments for enterprise analytics and data movement requirements.
SAP S/4HANA Data Integration
- Design and implement SAP S/4HANA data transfer workflows into Azure Data Lake environments using SAP Datasphere.
- Support enterprise data extraction, replication, transformation, and synchronization requirements.
- Ensure secure and optimized movement of SAP enterprise data.
Legacy Replication Modernization
- Lead initiatives involving replacement of SAP SLT (Landscape Transformation Replication Server) with SAP Datasphere-based architectures.
- Assess current replication models and recommend modern replacement strategies.
- Support migration planning, implementation, validation, and optimization.
Azure Data Platform Integration
- Integrate SAP enterprise data with:
- Azure Data Lake
- Cloud analytics ecosystems
- Enterprise reporting / downstream platforms
- Support cloud-based enterprise data architecture initiatives.
Data Engineering & Optimization
- Optimize data pipelines, replication workflows, and integration performance.
- Troubleshoot data transfer, connectivity, transformation, and synchronization issues.
- Ensure data integrity, reliability, and performance across integrated environments.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with:
- SAP teams
- Data architects
- Cloud engineering teams
- Business stakeholders
- Translate technical and business requirements into scalable integration solutions.
