Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner with strong Data Analytics expertise to lead strategic data-driven initiatives for enterprise-scale business solutions. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business stakeholders, analytics teams, and technical delivery teams to define product vision, prioritize requirements, and drive successful implementation of analytics platforms and reporting solutions.
The candidate should possess a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, product lifecycle management, data analytics, reporting, and cloud-based data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and manage product roadmap, vision, and business priorities for analytics and data-driven initiatives.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, analysts, and development teams to gather and refine requirements.
- Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
- Prioritize product backlog and ensure alignment with organizational goals and customer needs.
- Drive Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Work closely with Data Analytics, BI, and engineering teams to deliver scalable reporting and dashboard solutions.
- Analyze KPIs, business metrics, and customer insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely product delivery and continuous improvement.
- Facilitate UAT testing and validate deliverables against business requirements.
- Monitor product performance and recommend enhancements based on analytics and stakeholder feedback.
- Support enterprise reporting initiatives using cloud and BI technologies.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, quality standards, and security requirements.
Required Skills
- Strong experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Data Product Manager.
- Hands-on experience with Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, and Reporting platforms.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and product lifecycle management.
- Experience working with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Knowledge of SQL and data analysis techniques.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and analytics pipelines.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience creating user stories, epics, roadmaps, and acceptance criteria.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Insurance or Financial Services domain preferred.
- Exposure to Salesforce, CRM analytics, or customer data platforms is a plus.
- Knowledge of data governance and enterprise reporting frameworks.
- Scrum Product Owner certification (CSPO/SAFe PO) preferred.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Agile collaboration tools.
