Job Title: Senior Data Engineer
(PySpark / Apache Flink / Golang)
Location: Irving, TX (100% Onsite)
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Engineer / Embedded Solution Architect with expertise in high-volume streaming data architectures, telecom data mediation, and cloud-native technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in event-driven systems, telecom infrastructure, and large-scale real-time data processing environments.
This role is best suited for candidates with a background in network vendors such as Nokia, Samsung, Ericsson, Cisco, or Ciena.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support high-volume streaming data platforms and real-time data processing solutions
- Build and optimize event-driven and streaming architectures for enterprise-scale systems
- Develop scalable solutions using:
- PySpark
- Apache Flink
- Golang
- Java
- Python
- Design and implement data mediation and telecom data processing solutions
- Work with cloud-native and distributed technologies including:
- Kubernetes (K8s)
- Kafka
- ELK Stack
- Amazon S3
- Looker
- Support architecture design across:
- On-premise cloud environments
- Hybrid/cloud-native ecosystems
- Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams on:
- Solution architecture
- Development
- Testing
- Performance optimization
- Work with telecom data and standards aligned with 3GPP frameworks
- Design systems capable of handling large-scale, high-throughput data streams
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 15+ years of hands-on experience in:
- Software development
- Solution architecture
- System design
- Testing and engineering leadership
- Strong hands-on development expertise in:
- Golang
- Java
- Python
- PySpark
- Apache Flink
- Deep experience with:
- Event-driven architecture
- Streaming data architecture
- High-volume real-time data systems
- Strong experience with:
- Kafka
- Kubernetes
- ELK Stack
- Amazon S3
- Looker
- Experience in telecom environments with one or more of:
- Nokia
- Samsung
- Ericsson
- Cisco
- Ciena
- Understanding of:
- 3GPP standards
- Telecom network ecosystems
- Experience in Data Mediation is highly preferred
Preferred Skills
- Experience with:
- On-prem cloud architectures
- Telecom network security ecosystems
- Embedded systems / embedded architecture
