Job Title: Windchill Technical Lead / Senior Developer

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Windchill PLM Technical Lead / Senior Developer with 10+ years of IT experience and strong expertise in PTC Windchill, Java Development, Windchill Customization, and PLM solutions. The ideal candidate will lead technical implementations, design scalable solutions, support migration activities, and work closely with business stakeholders to deliver enterprise PLM solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of IT industry experience with strong PLM domain expertise.
- Extensive hands-on experience with PTC Windchill architecture, configuration, and customization.
- Strong knowledge of Windchill Data Model and database architecture.
- Experience with Windchill Lifecycle, Workflow, GUI, and Business/System Administration.
- Strong Java/J2EE development experience.
- Experience with JavaScript, Web Services, and Enterprise Application Development.
- Strong SQL and database design/administration skills.
- Hands-on experience with Windchill Installation and Configuration.
- Experience with ETL processes, data migration, and custom utility development.
- Ability to design and implement Windchill solutions for complex business requirements.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and unit testing experience.
- Experience leading technical implementation teams.
- Preferred Experience
- Experience in the Medical Devices industry.
- Prior experience migrating from non-Windchill systems to Windchill.
Knowledge of:
- Release Management
- BOM Management
- Change Management
- CAD Integration
- Experience with:
- Agile Methodology
- DevOps Practices
- JIRA
- Confluence
- Bitbucket
- Experience with ThingWorx is a plus.
- Relevant PTC/Windchill certifications are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Windchill implementation and enhancement projects.
- Analyze business requirements and design technical solutions.
- Customize Windchill workflows, lifecycle processes, and user interfaces.
- Develop and support Windchill integrations and custom applications.
- Perform installation, configuration, testing, and deployment activities.
- Develop migration utilities and support data migration efforts.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to development teams.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and customers to define solution approaches.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, development methodologies, and best practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Support continuous improvement of Windchill processes and functionality.
