Job Title: Senior Business Analyst with Embedded Payments
Location: Iselin, NJ / Boston, MA (Hybrid)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong expertise in Embedded Payments to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product managers, technology teams, and payment partners to deliver innovative payment solutions. This role requires deep knowledge of payment ecosystems, payment processing, business analysis methodologies, and Agile delivery practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for embedded payment products and platforms.
• Collaborate with product owners, engineering teams, and stakeholders to define business processes, user stories, and functional specifications.
• Analyze end-to-end payment workflows, including payment initiation, authorization, settlement, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Work with payment gateways, processors, merchant services, and banking partners to support payment integrations.
• Conduct gap analysis, process mapping, data analysis, and impact assessments.
• Facilitate requirement workshops, stakeholder meetings, and UAT sessions.
• Create BRDs, FRDs, process flows, use cases, and test scenarios.
• Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and release management.
• Ensure compliance with payment industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with QA and development teams to validate business requirements and ensure successful implementation.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of Business Analysis experience.
• 3+ years of experience working with Embedded Payments, Digital Payments, Payment Processing, or FinTech platforms.
• Strong understanding of payment ecosystems, including payment gateways, merchant acquiring, card payments, ACH, RTP, and digital wallets.
• Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Visio, SQL, and data analysis tools.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable technical solutions.
