Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with strong expertise in enterprise networking, cloud networking, network security, LAN/WAN operations, and infrastructure performance optimization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or Palo Alto networking technologies, cloud networking in AWS/Azure, and enterprise network troubleshooting in secure, high-availability environments.
This role requires strong operational support, network design capability, and infrastructure reliability expertise within a regulated/government environment.
Key Responsibilities
Network Engineering & Infrastructure Support
- Design, configure, install, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure.
- Support implementation and ongoing maintenance of network devices and connectivity solutions.
- Ensure network stability, reliability, and operational continuity.
Enterprise Networking
Hands-on support and engineering for:
- TCP/IP networking
- Routing & switching
- Enterprise network protocols
- Layer 2 / Layer 3 networking
- Secure network architecture
Strong expertise with:
- Cisco
- Juniper
- Palo Alto Networks
Cloud Networking
Support cloud network architecture and connectivity using:
- AWS VPC
- Azure Virtual Network
- Hybrid cloud networking models
Responsibilities:
- Cloud network design

- Cloud performance optimization
Network Monitoring & Performance Optimization
- Monitor network performance, uptime, and availability.
- Analyze traffic patterns and network behavior.
- Identify bottlenecks, congestion, and connectivity issues.
- Optimize network performance and throughput.
LAN / WAN Support
- Troubleshoot and resolve:
- LAN connectivity issues
- WAN performance issues
- Routing problems
- Network latency concerns
- Device communication failures
Network Security & Maintenance
- Apply:
- Security patches
- Configuration updates
- Network hardening standards
- Security best practices
- Maintain secure network infrastructure in compliance with enterprise standards.
Automation & Infrastructure Operations
- Work with network automation tools to improve operational efficiency.
- Support infrastructure automation initiatives where applicable.
Incident Troubleshooting & Support
- Diagnose network incidents and outages.
- Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Coordinate with infrastructure and operations teams for issue resolution.
