Job Title: Azure AI Engineer WITH OCR
Location: Chicago, IL

We are seeking an experienced Azure Document Intelligence Developer / AI-OCR Engineer with strong expertise in Azure AI Services, OCR technologies, Document Intelligence, Python, LangChain, and LangGraph. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing intelligent document processing solutions, implementing document extraction pipelines, building AI-powered workflows, and leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) to automate document understanding and classification.

Required Experience

• 10+ years of overall IT experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python development.
• Extensive experience with Azure AI Services and Azure Document Intelligence.
• Experience developing OCR and Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) solutions.
• Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Agentic AI frameworks.

Solution Design & Development

• Design JSON schemas for structured document extraction.
• Develop reusable document processing pipelines.
• Integrate Azure AI services with enterprise applications.
• Build scalable and secure cloud-native architectures.

Classification & Routing

• Implement document classification models.
• Design business rules for document routing and workflow automation.
• Improve processing accuracy through validation and feedback loops.

Collaboration & Delivery

• Work closely with business stakeholders and solution architects.
• Gather requirements and translate them into scalable AI solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and best practices for AI-powered document processing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise-scale OCR and Intelligent Document Processing platforms.
• Knowledge of Azure OpenAI Services.
• Experience with vector databases and RAG architectures.
• Understanding of workflow orchestration frameworks.
• Experience implementing AI agents for enterprise automation.
• Exposure to machine learning and natural language processing concepts.
