Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced ETL Engineer with strong expertise in data integration, ETL development, SQL optimization, and cloud-based data platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter, SSIS, SQL Server/Oracle databases, and file-based data integrations. This role requires a self-driven professional who can quickly contribute to ongoing projects, work closely with business stakeholders, and support enterprise data processing initiatives.
Required Technical Skills
- 6–8 years of experience in ETL development and data integration.
- Strong experience with Informatica PowerCenter and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Advanced SQL development skills with expertise in:
- SQL Server
- Oracle Database
- Stored Procedures
- Query Optimization
- Performance Tuning
- Troubleshooting Data Issues
- Experience processing and integrating file-based data feeds including:
- CSV
- Fixed-Width Files
- XML
- JSON
- Hands-on experience with:
- SFTP
- Managed File Transfer (MFT)
- Secure Data Exchange Solutions
- Strong programming experience in:
- Python
- C#
- Other data processing languages
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms and modern data integration architectures.
- Proficiency with:
- Visual Studio
- Azure DevOps
- TFS (Team Foundation Server)
- Source Control Management
- Experience implementing and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with SAFe framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter and SSIS.
- Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
- Build and support data integration solutions involving structured and semi-structured data sources.
- Design and manage inbound/outbound file processing solutions using CSV, XML, JSON, and fixed-width file formats.
- Implement secure data transfer solutions utilizing SFTP and MFT platforms.
- Develop automation scripts and data processing utilities using Python and/or C#.
- Collaborate with business users, analysts, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions.
- Support cloud-based data integration initiatives and modernization efforts.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
- Build and maintain CI/CD deployment processes using Azure DevOps and related tools.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Create technical documentation, data mapping specifications, and operational procedures.
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Azure OpenAI to improve productivity and accelerate delivery.
