Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Network Architect with deep expertise in enterprise network architecture, data center transformation, SD-WAN, Zero Trust security, and hybrid cloud networking. The ideal candidate will lead the design and migration of scalable, secure, and highly available network infrastructures across on-premises, colocation, and Azure cloud environments.

This role requires strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls, VMware VeloCloud SD-WAN, Azure ExpressRoute, network segmentation, automation, and high-availability network design.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Network Architecture

• Lead the migration from 2-tier to 3-tier (Core/Distribution/Access) enterprise network architecture.
• Design and implement scalable future-state network architecture roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
• Develop comprehensive High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs).
• Define Layer 2 and Layer 3 network topologies, routing boundaries, and failover domains.
• Architect and implement VLANs, VRFs, and security zoning strategies.

Data Center & Colocation Architecture

• Design and deploy colocation (Co-Lo) data center infrastructure with high availability and redundancy.
• Lead data center migration initiatives, including workload placement and transition planning.
• Optimize access and distribution layer architecture for scalability and resiliency.
• Design disaster recovery (DR) and failover strategies for mission-critical systems.

Network Security & Zero Trust

• Architect East-West and North-South traffic security using Palo Alto firewalls.
• Implement Zero Trust network security principles with identity-based access controls.
• Integrate Aruba ClearPass for network access control and policy enforcement.
• Design and enforce firewall policies across edge, DMZ, and data center environments.
• Ensure secure segmentation and traffic isolation across enterprise infrastructure.

WAN & SD-WAN Architecture

• Design and optimize hybrid WAN environments using MPLS, Internet, and SD-WAN technologies.
• Lead VMware VeloCloud SD-WAN deployments with application-aware routing and policy management.
• Architect resilient branch and WAN edge connectivity solutions.
• Ensure high availability and redundancy across WAN infrastructure.

Azure Cloud Networking

• Design and implement Azure hybrid networking using ExpressRoute and BGP routing.
• Develop Azure hub-and-spoke network architecture integrated with on-premises infrastructure.
• Ensure secure and optimized connectivity between cloud and enterprise environments.
• Support hybrid cloud traffic engineering and network security best practices.

Load Balancing & Application Delivery

• Design and optimize F5 LTM load balancing solutions.
• Implement SSL offloading, high availability, and application traffic optimization.
• Align application delivery strategies with secure segmented network architecture.

Automation & Monitoring

• Drive network automation initiatives using Ansible, Python, and NetBrain.
• Implement automation-first operational processes for configuration and deployment.
• Develop proactive monitoring, telemetry, and observability frameworks.
• Improve operational efficiency through scripting and infrastructure automation.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Network Engineering / Network Architecture roles.
• Strong expertise in enterprise network architecture (L2/L3, Data Center, WAN).
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Zero Trust security architecture.
• Strong experience with VMware VeloCloud SD-WAN solutions.
• Expertise in Azure networking including ExpressRoute and BGP.
• Experience designing highly available and resilient enterprise networks.
• Strong knowledge of VLANs, VRFs, MPLS, SD-WAN, routing, and switching technologies.
• Experience with F5 LTM load balancing solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Aruba wireless infrastructure and ClearPass.
• Strong scripting and automation experience using Python and Ansible.
• Experience with NetBrain or similar network automation/observability tools.
• Strong understanding of disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity planning.
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with enterprise cloud migration initiatives.
• Knowledge of network observability and telemetry platforms.
• Experience supporting hybrid cloud and multi-site enterprise environments.
• Industry certifications such as:
• CCNP / CCIE
• PCNSE
• AWS or Azure Networking Certifications
• VMware SD-WAN Certifications
