We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist with strong technical expertise and Generative AI knowledge to support initiatives across machine learning, AI model development, model governance, and emerging GenAI innovations within the Consumer Auto organization.
The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and risk partners to deliver high-quality ML/AI solutions while ensuring responsible and effective deployment of AI systems. The role requires hands-on experience with large datasets, predictive modeling, Generative AI, and agentic AI systems.
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and test AI solutions for the Consumer Auto organization, including support for vendor-developed Agentic AI models and governance.
Leverage innovative approaches to improve model performance and business outcomes.
Integrate responsible AI practices, governance, ethical considerations, and security throughout the model development lifecycle.
Develop and maintain benchmarks and operational performance monitoring for predictive models, Generative AI, and agentic systems.
Identify and deliver AI-driven solutions that create business value and competitive advantage.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy scalable ML and AI solutions.
Support model governance, validation, and monitoring activities.
Work with large structured and unstructured datasets, including text data.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, Economics, or related quantitative discipline.
8–10 years of experience in Data Science and quantitative modeling.
Hands-on experience with machine learning and AI model development.
Practical experience working with large datasets, including text data.
Strong knowledge of Python, SQL, or R.
Strong understanding of statistics and exploratory data analysis (EDA).
Experience with Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience designing and implementing predictive models, Generative AI, and agentic systems.
Knowledge of responsible AI practices, governance, ethical AI, and security protocols.
Experience with GitHub and repositories.
Master’s degree or higher in a quantitative field.
